My name is Danielle Santos, M.A./M.P.P. - an experienced organizational learning strategist and ed equity advocate who's passionate about helping all students and their communities use their unique strengths and talents to find their best-fit college search and readiness solutions.

With over 12 years of diverse experience in the non-profit, tech ed, and post-secondary education sectors, I'm committed to transforming public higher education spaces to better meet the unique needs of all underserved students and their communities. Before founding RAFA Educational Consulting in 2024, I:

Worked with 17 public research universities across the nation to better support the success of their undergraduate students,
Recruited diverse students to an R1 public institution through community-based partnerships,
Trained college counselors nationwide on scholarship and college application best practices,
Served as a college application coach for high-achieving students applying to highly selective liberal arts colleges and Ivy-League schools.

As a lifelong learner and scholar-practitioner, I seek to understand how organizational culture and educational change processes impact local equity ed initiatives and college pathway pipelines through a culturally relevant, student-centered lens.

I'm currently a doctoral student studying Social and Theoretical Foundations of Education at the University of Toledo with a minor in Research and Assessment. Despite being a Columbus, OH native, I'm a two-time Wolverine who received both my MA in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Access and Success and MPP with a concentration in Higher Education Policy from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I am also a proud alumna of Smith College where I received my BA in Cultural Anthropology and was named an Urban Education Initiative Fellow in Springfield, MA.

In my spare time, I dream about becoming a kick-ass roller derby girl, creative writer and poet, grassroots community leader, and being the front-woman of an all-male funk-rock, jazz band again.
